The Stockholm Toy Museum
The Stockholm Toy Museum is located under a mountain on the island of Skeppsholmen. Inside the museum there are with many winding tunnels and alcoves making is a unique experience in itself. As you travel along the well lit winding tunnels, you will find many toys and comics, old and new, in display cabinets. A few interactive areas for the kids are intermingled with the displays.
Don’t get discouraged by the museum name. It may be a toy museum, but the antique toys displayed throughout bring back fond memories for the adult and and collector alike.

The museum has a small cafe offering coffee and pastries for breakfast and lite options for lunch. Next to the cafe is a play area for the kiddos while the adults enjoy Fika. Near the front of the museum there is a colorful little gift shop alcove, where you can purchase a book or a toy to commenorate your visit.
The Toy Museum is located on Skeppsholmen island, just after you cross the bridge to the island. It is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Entrance into the museum is 140 SEK per adult, 90 SEK for children 4-18 years, and Free for children 3 years and under.
