Nordiska Museum, also known as Nordiska Museet, is on the island of Djurgården. It cannot be missed as you come across main bridge of the island.  The large Renaissance style building is one of the first structures you see!

The Building

The building, opened in 1907, has an enormous grand hall with arced ceilings going as high up as 24 meters.  The grand hall features a large oak statue of King Gustav Vasa. The statue sits on marble floors and is surrounded by marble walls and column.
