Hello fellow travelers!

Welcome to my website & blog, The Travel Adventures! I’m based in the Dallas, Texas metroplex, but I had the incredible opportunity to live in Stockholm, Sweden for two years as part of a short-term assignment with my husband’s company. This unforgettable experience allowed us to immerse ourselves in a new culture and explore the wonders of traveling abroad.

Inspired by my time in Sweden, I launched The Travel Adventures website to document and share my travel experiences. In the beginning, my articles focused on Stockholm and the surrounding areas, capturing the charm of Scandinavian life. Over time, as we’ve settled back in the U.S., I’ve expanded the blog to include more of my travel adventures throughout the US and other countries. I’ve also added tips, advice, and stories from other travels to help you plan your next journey with ease.

To be qualified for publication on our site, you must apply these guidelines. This is important for a few reasons:

  • Your credibility as an author is important, as is our credibility in being your platform. The higher the quality the more positive the user experience.
  • Readers come back when you’ve earned their trust. This is done by providing value every time. More value results in increased traffic back to your website or blog.
  • Writing unique quality content is how your site and The Travel Adventures will get noticed and ranked on search engines. Original and informative articles are the foundation of a positive reader experience.

Original and informative are two characteristics that define quality. Here are some tips on each:

Original:
All content submitted to The Travel Adventures must be 100% original and exclusively owned by you. If you submit an article that has been published elsewhere we will not publish it on The Travel Adventures site.

Informative:
Informative content is defined as written material that offers tips, strategies, techniques, opinions, or commentary related to the travel industry. This content must provide real value to the reader beyond common sense tips and general information.

Do Not Sell – The purpose of an article is to educate and inform, not to promote

The content in articles should not be a rehashed version of tips and information provided from other articles published previously on The Travel Adventures site or other sites. Each article must provide new and unique content.

A positive user experience can only be obtained when your primary focus is to deliver quality, original content in all your articles.

Article Content:

We ask that you submit articles with proper grammar, this includes spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and proper sentence structure. Articles submitted will go through an editorial process and may be updated due to grammar changes among other things.

  • Must Not be a Private Label Rights (PLR) article or Contain Unattributed Content to Which the Author Does Not Have Exclusive Rights.

We require 2 images to be submitted with each article but no more than 5.
